Jane Dwight
Jane learnt how to do Chinese brush painting in the Philippines
with Prof. Chen Bin Sun. The Malaysian Institute of Art
awarded her a Diploma and she has written several books on the
subject. Jane teaches the art all across Sussex, from Worthing to
Eastbourne. She also enjoys teaching in Summer Schools
such as the one in Cape Town University and in London at The
Princes School of Traditional Arts. She has an exhibition or an Open house in the Brighton Festival every year and enjoys giving demonstrations to Art Clubs and Societies. Jane won the Thetis Blacker Scholarships from the Temenos Academy in 2009 to do a batik study in Indonesia. She continues to study whenever she can with the Masters Qu Lei Lei and Cai Xiaoli.
